jazz in june...give-away

The weekend studio trunk show was wonderful and BUSY! I think a lot of you went home happy with some sweet little treasures that needed to make room for all of my NEW ideas.

Tomorrow is my last Tuesday at Jazz in June (12th and R, 5-9). Lucy and I decided to make some ready-to-go necklaces from some hidden sale treasures. I'll have these available at Jazz in June for $8 each (what a fun deal!). So far I've made over 30 combos of charms and beads on many different cords, chains, and ribbons!

I have some special orders I'm working on, and then I hope to get started on some new design ideas!
For this week's give-away...say "hi" to me here in a comment, or become a NEW fan on my studio Facebook page. I'll pick a winner on Friday for a 3-pack of my FAVORITE polishing pads...your charms and silver can be sparkle-y! Check back here on Friday to see if YOU are the lucky-ducky:)

sale...and winner!

Whew! Lucy and I have been busy with the garage sale/open house...sale charms and dangles have been FLYING off the table, and I've had fun with all of other inventory. Barely had enough time today to sort out all of the new silver I had prepped for the sale:)

Remember I won't be at the Piedmont Market tomorrow (Saturday), but will be OPEN here (if you need directions, you can e-mail me!). There are alot of sale charms left, and I may get the urge to add some more...it's not spring, but I'm having fun making room for more new charms.

The winner of the free $12 glass charm is Jana, who "likes" me this week on Facebook. Contact me Jana, and I'll add you to my WINNER BOOK...yippee!

top secret...studio sale news:)

As promised, I'm posting photos of some of the charms (500+ and counting!) and jewelry I've set aside for the studio garage sale. I wanted some prettier shots, but the weather just isn't cooperating! I'm still adding charms and jewelry to the mix. After Jazz in June tomorrow, I'll have Lucy add her expert eye to our inventory.
Glass charms will be $5 each; this also includes some houses and a few others. I have some neck cords, ribbons, bracelets, a few last purses, LOTS of dangles (I even went through my bead stash and made up some NEW ones to put on sale for $1).

So...anyone who visits my blog gets the SECRET news that I will have the sale open Thursday evening from 5-8, in addition to the Friday/Saturday hours (10-5) I advertised. Also, if you comment here or on my studio Facebook page THIS WEEK before Friday, you'll be entered in the drawing for a free glass charm ($12 value). Check back on Friday to see if you're the winner!
I will also have regular studio inventory available for sale, and I'll be able to take special orders.

Now I need to get back to work in the studio!

Winner...open house next week!

Hooray...busy week, full of markets and jewelry! I plan on Jazz in June this coming Tuesday, but won't be at the Piedmont Market on Saturday because I'll be having my one summer open house and studio GARAGE SALE. I'll post details on Monday. Lucky-duckies who look at Monday's entry will be privvy to some Surprise Sale Details:)

This week's lucky winner is Jennifer who commented via Facebook. E-mail me, Jennifer, and we'll get you in my "winner book" for your free $12 glass charm. Remember anyone can like/fan Brown Dog Studio on Facebook, and you won't be making me your "friend" (unless you want to!).

(...um, wow!...I just figured out how to make a "link" in this blog! Just look above a few lines and click on the "Brown Dog Studio" to go to the studio Facebook page...who knew a crafty girl could be so computer savvy?!)

doodle...bugs!

These are a new addition to my Brown Dog Doodles. Have them finished in 3/4 inch size and hope to finish the bitty-sized doodles by Piedmont Market on Saturday! If there's not pouring rain, I'll be there this Saturday from 8-noon :) There are an assortment of Lucy's summery bees, ladybugs and dragonflies.

Let's make one of these (or your choice of a $12 glass charm) the GIVE-AWAY for this week...just post a comment here, via e-mail, or on facebook http://www.facebook.com/browndogstudio, and then come back on Friday to see if you're the winner!

Remember to look for me at Jazz in June tomorrow (Tuesday, 5-9).

rain...and shine

Well, looks like rain is keeping me from the Piedmont Market today, but if you were hoping to see me, come down to visit at Jazz in June, or call to come to the studio (Thursday 10-2).

I'm finishing up Father's Day orders, but wanted to show you one more fun thing...

These large silver or copper disks are perfect to add to a keychain for Dad (or Grandpa). Let me know if you'd like me to squeeze your order in this week!

...Gather your friends

In the past, summers were my downtime...no shows, work on inventory for the fall. This summer, I've been branching out. I'm at the Piedmont market most Saturdays from 8-noon; I'm signed up for Jazz in June on Tuesday evenings in front of the Lied Center at 12th and R...you can come down for food and music, too:) Don't forget Thursdays in the studio, 10-2!

Another option for the summer...gather your friends in my studio! We tried this just before Christmas, and got great comments from everyone who planned or attended a private trunk show. You and 5+ friends (sisters, mom, co-workers...) have a scheduled window of time in the studio to shop and visit with me about special orders. This is great if you'd like to shop in the evening, because it's one of the few times I open the studio outside of Thursdays and open houses.

For this week's give-away...anyone who schedules a Gathering will receive a free $12 glass charm from my inventory at the time of her scheduled trunk show.
